C Tier:
Vincent
He looks like would be really good, but he is not. He is so squishy that he normally dies from 3 or 4 attacks. You should probably only use him if the enemy team is all magic damage and you don’t have Drago.
Pieces for the Tier 17 Normal set are created by tokens that drop from select bosses from Blackrock Foundry, in Normal difficulty. These tokens can also be chosen as rewards of the quest started by Essence of the Iron Protector (Alliance) or Essence of the Iron Protector (Horde), which can drop from Blackhand, the last boss of Blackrock Foundry. Head: Rylakstalker's Headguard, dropped by Kromog. C Tier: Vincent He looks like would be really good, but he is not. He is so squishy that he normally dies from 3 or 4 attacks. You should probably only use him if the enemy team is all magic damage and you don't have Drago.
Torsen
Torsen is good at dealing with Physical damage teams, but he doesn’t offer much damage or tankiness outside of his ultimate. He also doesn’t have any crowd control or disrupt abilities. He is okay, but most players avoid him.
B Tier:
Tholin
At low levels Tholin is nearly unbeatable, but as your team levels he stops being as strong because other frontlines can tank more, or do more damage. So he doesn’t have a place in most areas. Hall of Legends is where Tholin shines the most. He makes Hall of Legends cry before his wolverines and loud voice.
A Tier:
Elric
Elric and Drago are almost equal. But Drago gets resistances instead of health, and in the later game that is better. Elric’s awakening keeps him well above average, but still not on the level of Drago. He works well with any team that doesn’t have much crowd control.
Leon
Leon is not very flashy, but he gives the party a lot of really good buffs while being moderately tanky. He works best with a physical team because of his 3rd skill. He works best against physical teams too because of his shield and his 4th ability. I suggest using him with Gayle and Leah for some really high damage.
Riley
Early game she is definitely in the S Tier, and in crucible she is the best choice for your front line. However she ends up letting your enemies hit your middle line with her roll ability. Her transformation is also not a good tank. It is only good for its damage and stun. That is why she is in A tier for soul hunters tanks.
S Tier:
Drago
He is a tanky tanky monster. His massive stats keep him above a lot longer than any other unit. He works best as a solo tank with 4 DPS Heroes, or 3 DPS Heroes and a good support. His only downfall is that he does not have very much synergy with other soul hunters heroes.
Arachne!
Why? Her 4th ability makes her a major pain for anyone to attack. Run her as your front line, by filling your team with middle line and backline characters. The poison damage she deals does not give energy to the enemy team. This means they die without having a chance to use their ultimates! She pairs really well with Jasmine and Ariel.
