Summer Riding Camp is a great opportunity for younger equestrians!
An SKS has never been known as a long range platform, but it is an excellent lightweight, low recoiling rifle that has remained popular. The SKS platform is a simple and very affordable weapon that is a sufficient hunter and all-around fun gun to own and operate.
Our Camps program is designed for boys and girls ages 4 and up, whether you are new to horses or an experienced rider. Each morning, campers will participate in an hour group English riding lesson. We have horses of all sizes and levels to accommodate each rider, campers will groom and tack up their own horses. The afternoons are spent in un-mounted instruction. Topics include daily care, nutrition, breeds, colors, parts of the horse and tack, disciplines, health and other important parts of horsemanship. During the week, campers will design and paint horseshoes. When you think you know it all there is always more to learn!

Each day, campers should bring lunch (pizza on Friday, do not bring lunch), snacks, beverages, sunscreen, bug spray and an extra change of clothes. There is a refrigerator for food and beverage storage. Campers are required to wear boots with a hard, flat sole and 1/2″ heel that covers the ankles (a paddock boot/work boot) when riding. Long, close fitting pants are required during mounted lessons (breeches, jeans, sweat pants).
Camp enrollment begins February 1. The cost per session is $400.00. A deposit of $200 per session is due with registration, and a payment of $200 is due on the first day of each session.
